What is the procedure in applying for Litter Registration

• The bitch should be at least 8 months and not more than 12 years old at the time of mating
• The stud dog should be at least 8 months and not more than 12 years old at the time of mating.
• No litter shall be registered unless the breeder has an up to date registered kennel name. The litter owner, breeder and stud owner must be a paid up member in good standing with the PCCI.
• No kennel name affix may be used identical or similar to any other local or foreign affix nor in any way misleading. Kennel registration forms are available at the

 

Naming of puppies

1.        Names of dogs submitted for registration shall not contain more than twenty-seven (27) spaces including the breeder's kennel affix.

2.        ALL NAMES OF PUPPIES MUST BEGIN WITH THE SAME LETTER.

3.        No obscene names may be used.

4.        The use of numbers is not permitted.

5.        A name once registered shall not be used again for another dog within the same breed or variety.

6.        Once a name has been submitted and registered, it shall not be altered in any way.
